The Stables

Sleeps 7

The Stables

The Stables is a two storey modern barn conversion on the other side of the courtyard from The Old Shippon & Churn Cottage  what it lacks in panoramic views which the other cottages have it more than makes up for in size, style and en-suite bedrooms with many guests comments being “I could live here”.

As you walk into The Stables to the right on the ground floor is a large bright airy double bedroom with exposed beams, vaulted ceiling and a sliding door leading to a wet room which has a large walk in shower area, W/C with adjacent hand basin, grab rails and a large wall-hung basin. A wheeled shower chair or shower stool is available if needed as well as door ramp, furniture risers, over bed table, bed assist guard, commode and a walking frame.

Also on the ground floor is a large fully fitted kitchen/diner with a big farmhouse table easily seating 8, a 50/50 fridge freezer, electric oven & hob, a full sized dishwasher, microwave and washing machine.  An open sandstone doorway leads you into the comfortable living room which has double doors leading onto the patio area with garden furniture & charcoal BBQ.  All of the ground floor is on one level and has underfloor heating.

The first floor is accessed from stairs in the living room and has a large triple bedroom with double & single bed, a family bathroom which has a bath and overhead shower, WC and sink unit and a king room with en-suite shower room, cots & high chairs are available if required.
